CSX Corporation to Hold Third-Quarter Earnings

Jacksonville, Fla., Oct. 5, 2005 - CSX Corporation (NYSE: CSX) will hold its third-quarter 2005 earnings conference call on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. ET. CSX expects to issue its earnings at approximately 9 a.m. that day.
