One of the Nation's Largest Expedited Carrier Implemented Satellite real-time communications and trackingMississauga, Ontario and Cambridge, Ontario February 26th, 2003 Cancom Tracking, a Shaw Communications Inc. Company, (TSX: SJR.B and NYSE:SJR), the leader in mobile communications for the Canadian Transportation industry, today announced it has signed a contract with Dynamex one of the nations largest expedited carriers to deploy OmniTRACS satellite real-time mobile communication systems for use in a number of its network expedited vehicles throughout North America.

Dynamex is a leading provider of same-day transportation and distribution services in the U.S. and Canada. Dynamex offers a complete range of same-day transportation and distribution services for clients of all sizes, needs, and provides services within cities, between cities and between countries 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. When clients require a seamless national or international network of transportation and distribution services, Dynamex can partner with other providers anywhere in the world.

According to Kevin Little, General Manager Expedited Services at Dynamex, We evaluated a variety wireless solutions before proceeding with Cancom. We

performed due diligence in areas such as financial stability, true 24/7-customer support, customer references and reliability and redundancy. Cancom met our expectations in every category.

Dynamex expects OmniTRACS to improve response time and reduce operational costs. In the expedited industry, it is vital that you communicate with your clients in a proactive way. By migrating to a data platform as opposed to voice, Dynamex will be able to control their expedited fleet from one centralized location. Dynamex will benefit from reduced telecommunications costs and at the same time improve communications. Its not uncommon for a dispatcher to receive 8 10 driver calls on a single delivery, which is costly and time-consuming. Kevin said, OmniTRACS has replaced all the phone calls attached to each delivery, ensuring peace of mind because we have up-to-date information on all of our shipments in real-time. OmniTRACS allows our dispatchers to manage by exception. Due to the reduction in the number of calls coming into dispatch, we redeployed a dispatcher into a full-time backhaul role.

Integration was also key feature for Dynamex. Any wireless packaged had to be compatible with Dynamex existing platform. Cancom has answered the integration call and today we are fully integrated; from the release of the pro-bill to the driver to empty call. From pick-up, all the way to completion and proof-of-delivery, we provide automated updates to keep operations informed and customers up-to-date, said Kevin.

When Kevin was asked to comment on the acceptance of the technology by his drivers, he said, Prior to purchasing OmniTRACS we proactively communicated the benefits of this new technology to our drivers, pointing out not only the benefits to the company, but also the increased efficiency they would realize from using this new technology.

"We've seen how OmniTRACS helps us to be more proactive and profitable, plan more efficient routes and reduce overall fleet miles," said Jim Aitken, Vice President & General Manager, Dynamex Canada. "By extending our state-of-the-art information network to the driver, we can provide critical information at the point of pickup and delivery for our customers."

"Dynamex is continually focused on customer information requirements, operational excellence, return on investment and technological advancement. It is significant that they have chosen OmniTRACS," said Mike Ham, Vice President of Cancom Tracking. "We look forward to OmniTRACS becoming a critical part of the Dynamex Satellite Dispatch Solution, providing real-time pickup and delivery information to customers while increasing operating efficiencies and helping to improve driver productivity.
