Roadway Express Driver Ed Roxbury Reaches Milestone of One Million Safe Miles

DETROIT, Michigan July 22, 2005 Roadway Express professional city driver, Ed Roxbury, has achieved the elite status of driving one million miles without a preventable accident.

Roxbury, 49, has been with Roadway for 18 years 16 and a half of which he was based in Warren, Mich. He is presently domiciled at the Detroit facility and is a member of Local 299 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

"We are all proud of Ed's outstanding achievement. He exemplifies the engagement and pride essential to make our highways safe while meeting our customers' needs," said Bob Stull, president of Roadway Express. "He is truly a leader in the industry."

Roxbury will be recognized for his achievement at a safety breakfast. He will receive a plaque and jacket honoring his dedication to safety.

Ed's peddle area is the Chesterfield & Anchor Bay area, where he resides with wife Kristi, daughter Taylor, and son Jacob. He enjoys boating on Lake St. Clair and camping.
