Boise Cascade Office Products:The new beginning


Boise is a company from Idaho. Its business consists in manufacturing wood products, plywood, lumber and particleboard. Imaging paper for offices and home, printing and converting paper, containerboard, corrugated boxes and newsprint pulp are also some of the products provided by Boise.


The original name of the company was Madison Dearborn Partners, and Boise was the name for the distribution division. Since 2004, Boise Cascade Office Products became the new name. Today, Boise has 10,000 employees and works with three basics values: safety, integrity and quality. 


Distribution is the foundation of Boise Cascade operations because it must provide on-time deliveries of its products.  In 28 locations throughout the United States, the transportation department of Boise carries the necessary materials to the retailers, home improvement stores and industrial customers.


There are some job opportunities for drivers at Boise Cascade. The requirements for the drivers are the High School diploma, the CDL, two years of experience and a good driving record. The owner operators Boise Company require two years of OTR experience, good record and a tractor with five years age as maximum.
