HVH Transportation Inc. was founded in 1956 under the name of Thacker Brothers Transportation. It offered services in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. 21 years later, it was renamed HVH Transportation by Robert L. Holder. It began to expand its services into towns along ColoradoÂâ€Ã¢„¢s Interstate 70 all the way to Grand Junction. Today this company provides to more than 300 places through a terminal network that covers Colorado Springs, Denver, Grand Junction, Kremmling, Lamar, Pueblo and Sterling.
The company provides service throughout the West, Southwest, Midwest, and the Western provinces of Canada. HVH has grown a great deal in the last 10 years and that is because every year it gets revenues of more than $50 million just from the Interstate Truckload Division. It has included new trucks into the equipment as well as the latest technology to offer the customers the best service, safety and low costs.
HVH serves more than 90% of the Colorado population. Every one of the terminals above mentioned are equipped with proper freight handling equipment including forklifts and delivery trucks with lift gates for the safe handling for the clientsÂâ€Ã¢„¢ shipment. It is interesting to know that HVH is a 100% owner operator company and currently it is expanding its operations, so it is looking for professional owner operators to join the company.
Some of the benefits that the HVH offers are: 91 cents per mile, national and western US fuel Surcharge paid on all miles, $45 per stop, safety incentives up to 2 cents per mile, road taxes, license and registration and annual and monthly inspections at no cost.
