Lester Coggins Trucking Inc. Needs Owner Operators

By: Bubbajunk.com

Lester Coggins Trucking Inc. started operations in 1967 with just one customer and four trucks. By 1993 they were purchased by the Gainey Corporation and they were offering their services to over 900 customers in 48 states, that is why they are considered one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.

Their main service is the transportation of perishable products such like: orange juice, milk, frozen foods, and fresh produce, as well a variety of other products including plastics, drug, and grocery store stuff, containers, clothing and paper goods. The terminals of the company are located in several points of Florida (Okahumpka, Pierson and Miami), with daily scheduled service to grocery chains in the Central, Midwest and Western states.

Something interesting is that among their services they assign a customer service representative to each account, this to give the clients the opportunity of receiving information about their shipment status, billing or any kind of information that they request at the moment they need it.

LCT works with 325 company owner operators and a fleet of 450 refrigerated trailers. All the units must be equipped with the Qualcomm Mobile Tracking System, this to give effective and efficient service and offer the most real-time shipment information to their clients. The company has a big coverage area and for this they are continuously looking for owner operators who want to be part of them; they offer benefits like: full benefit package-life, dental and optical insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid vacations. All their tractors are 2003 or newer.

Some of the requirements you need are: a current and valid Class-A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and more than 21 years of age.
